| Hans Godo Fräbel (Atlanta, GA)
Fräbel is one of the very first flamework glass artists in the world. Furnace glass allows for large pieces to be created, but Fräbel was more interested in the detail capabilities of the flamework method.
Born in Germany, Fräbel came to the States in 1965 where he studied glass art at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Emory University, and Georgia State.
He then went on to open a studio in Atlanta in 1968. Since then, the Fräbel Studio has created some of the world's most stunning works of art in crystal and color glass. They are so remarkable that they are frequently acquired as distinctive gifts for the rich and famous.
Presently, Fräbel has eight glass artists working with him at the Fräbel Studio where they create these magnificent works of art.
